Our Lord encouraged the disciples to follow Him with these words: "Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men" (Matthew 4:19).
The disciples were equipped and trained by the world's greatest Teacher. Jesus spent three and a half years training and equipping His disciples. In the book of Acts, they applied the lessons Jesus taught them. The disciples went out in Jesus' name, meeting the needs of men and women and touching them for the Kingdom of God.
