Churches grow when there is a planned process of community outreach meeting the physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of people. Jesus' ministry was people-focused. He met the needs of men and women. He was concerned about them.
Following the Savior's example, the New Testament church met the needs of people in Jesus' name. These early disciples demonstrated a concern for the entire person: physically, mentally, socially and spiritually (See Acts 3:6, Acts 6:1-4).
In both the natural and spiritual world there are laws of the harvest. One of the most basic is simply this, "If you want to have a harvest it is necessary to sow seed."
It is in the process of sowing that our own hearts are watered by the Holy Spirit and prepared for the harvest. The resources listed below are specially designed to assist you in your community outreach, and will also prove to be a blessing to you personally!
